A southwest Missouri woman faces charges of supplying her underage daughters with marijuana.
Prosecutors in Newton County, Missouri, have charged Patricia Cotten of Seneca with delivery of 25 grams or less of marijuana to a person under 17 years of age and two years younger. Court documents in the case indicate that a man told Seneca police that his daughters, ages 13 and 15, had been on probation and then tested positive for THC during a routine drug test. The man told police he believed they had gotten the drug from their mother, identified as Cotten.
Police then allegedly found photo evidence on the girls' phones that included large amounts of what appeared to be marijuana.
The investigation into the allegations remains ongoing.
