Parsons firefighters respond to reports of a Saturday house fire.

Emergency crews were called to a residence near the intersection of Appleton and 23rd Streets on Saturday afternoon. Despite the below-freezing temperatures and snowy conditions, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and safely remove the occupants from the home. No injuries were reported.

Parsons Police and EMS assisted on the call.
