The Montgomery County Commission will meet today and hear quarterly reports from Emergency Management and Environmental and Zoning.

At today’s meeting, County Emergency Management Director Rick Whitson and Environmental and Zoning Director Matt Debo will each appear before the commission to give updates on their respective departments. Sheriff Ron Wade will also address commissioners regarding internet at the Mongomery County Jail for an R-F-I-D system. Director of Information Technology Jason Clubine is also expected to be on hand to discuss network improvement and cybersecurity grants.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
