Coffeyville Community College has been named the Business of the Year by the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce. The recognition was awarded Friday night at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet. The college was voted Business of the Year by Chamber members.
The Chamber also presented awards to Green Acres Florist as Small Business of the Year, Nutritionville was recognized with the Rising Star Award, Linda Follet with the Historical Society and Genesis received the Citizen of the Year Award and Lisa Scheck with the Midland Theater Board and Thompson Brothers Welding Supply received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
A record, sold out crowd attended Friday night’s banquet held in Nellis Hall East on the CCC campus while the threat of a massive winter storm did not deter attendance.
