As winter weather bears down on the region, law enforcement agencies are advising drivers to use caution for those who must travel.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal Justin Ewing says it's best to stay home during the snow storm. For those who must be on the roads, Ewing says to make sure you have emergency supplies in your vehicle.
Drivers should be ready for the unexpected. Ewing says, if you do get stranded in your car during the storm, don't panic.
The Coffeyville area is expected to receive between 8 and 12 inches of snow this weekend.
