A Miami man is arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cybertip regarding the apparent illegal material. That information was then provided to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Unit for further investigation. The results of the investigation led agents to locate and arrest 20-year-old Ethan Roher. Roher was taken into custody Thursday by O-S-B-I and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Predatory Crime Unit. He was booked into the Ottawa County Jail on charges of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, Distribution of Child Pornography, and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

The Miami Police Department, Miami Nation, Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, and Wyandotte Nation assisted with the investigation. The review of the case remains ongoing.
