Adelaide Jones is the winner of the Cherryvale Middle School Spelling Bee. Jones's winning word was lye.
Jones won a certificate, Hershey's candy bar and a Sonic gift card. She will represent Cherryvale at the Montgomery County Spelling Bee on February 20th. If she can't compete then second place, Jet Tracy, will take her place. Tracy lost on the word ensemble.
