The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College welcomes Americana singer and musician Pi Jacobs to the Spencer Rounds Theater .
Jacobs brings her roots-rock swagger and storytelling soul to her live performances. The Los Angeles-based musician combines vivid storytelling with an outlaw sound, weaving topics like divorce, whiskey, cheaters, and lies into her performances. Jacobs' music has been compared to Tom Waits, Dolly Parton, and Lucinda Williams. She has performed in such notable venues like the Americana Fest in Nashville and at Austin's SXSW.
Jacobs will perform Tuesday night at 6:30 in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. Admission is free.
