The USD-436 receives a report concerning the mineralogy of the historic football stadium during the most recent Board of Education meeting.

 

 Testing being done on the structure will help determine how much life is left in the seating and ticket area and if renovations are possible.

 

 Superintendent Blake Vargas says core samples taken revealed some interesting information.

 

 Vargas says nothing has been ruled out, including renovation of the 86-year-old historic stadium.

 

 The biggest obstacle USD-436 officials are having is finding out an approximate timeline on how much longer the stadium will be structurally sound. Vargas says the district remains committed to finding the best solution for the stadium, both financially and historically.
