The Kansas Department of Transportation announces the completion of a project on US-400 through Greenwood County.
The purpose of the project was to seal cracks in the asphalt along US-400 from the Wilson County line to the east junction of K-99 at Severy. Work on the project began in the fall of 2025 and was completed last week by Pavement Pros, LLC, of McPherson. The contract for the project was just over $350,000.
According to KDOT, a guardrail project on the same stretch of the highway is still in progress on the right-of-way, but that work is not impacting traffic.
