As the Spring 2026 semester begins, Coffeyville Community College is coming off a strong Fall 2025.

The college recorded the highest enrollment growth of any community college in Kansas, with an 11.4 percent increase, whichc is its largest one-year jump in more than a decade. CCC also expanded workforce training, including the launch of its new Powersports Technology Program at the Columbus Technical Campus, created through a partnership with Jay Hatfield Motorsports to provide direct pathways to employment.

The college’s CDL program continued to grow with federal support, highlighted by a visit from U.S. Senator Jerry Moran, who has helped secure funding for career and technical education. CCC strengthened ties with regional high schools and earned national recognition as one of the Aspen Institute’s Top 200 community colleges. College officials say the focus moving forward remains on workforce programs, partnerships and student success.
