A Salina woman is in custody following the death of an infant.
Salina Police arrested 21-year-old Adyson Burr on Monday, January 12, after emergency crews were called to her residence for a disturbance. Law enforcement and EMS arrived on the scene and found a 5-month-old male infant unresponsive in his crib. Burr and another adult occupant of the home were both interviewed at the scene before Burr was taken into custody. She faces charges of first-degree homicide and child abuse.
The infant was taken to Kansas City where an autopsy is pending. The case remains under investigation.
