Progress continues on the installation of docks at the Sedan Old and New City Lakes.
That was the word from Sedan Public Works Superintendent Caleb Ironsyde. Ironsyde says a lot of the work has been completed
Ironsyde says progress is also underway on the work that remains.
In other business, council members discussed a trade with the City of Caney that would exchange the use of a Sedan city truck for assistance in repairing the truck’s water pump. Members also discussed the possible short-term rental of the fairgrounds building to a local online retailer while giving approval to move forward with a waste tire grant application to provide benches and picnic tables for downtown.
Newly elected council members Crystal Wade and Wellington Butler were also sworn in as council members.
