A recent traffic stop in Independence leads to the arrest of two individuals on drug charges.
On Thursday, January 8th, officers from the Independence Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Poplar. Following an investigation, officers arrested the driver 20-year-old Ethan Kahle and his passenger 29-year-old Starla Henderson. Both face multiple charges including possession of an opiate, narcotic, or certain stimulant and possession of drug paraphernalia, Kahle also faces several moving violations in connection to the original traffic stop.
Both suspects were booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
