A California woman is dead following a head-on collision in Ellsworth County.

54-year-old Stephanie Stevens of Rio Vista, California, was traveling southbound on K-14 about 30 miles west of Salina on Friday afternoon when her 2018 Chevy Equinox began to spin. This caused her vehicle to cross into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with an F350.  Stevens was fatally injured in the crash while the other driver – 47-year-old Mark Huseman of Ellsworth – suffered minor injuries.
