The Oklahoma State Treasurer's Office releases its December Tax Revenue Report.
The state reports a total of $17.2 billion for 2025, an increase of 22% from November and 1.9% more than in 2024. The state's strong financial numbers were driven by a 52% increase in income tax, a 20% increase in motor vehicle taxes, and a 231.5% increase in the gross production tax.
Unemployment in Oklahoma remains low, falling to 3.2%. That number remains well below the national rate of 4.6%.
