The Montgomery County Clerk's Office reminds citizens that now is the time to apply for Kansas Property Tax Relief Programs.

Kansas offers three income-based property tax relief programs designed to help homeowners, seniors, and disabled veterans: the Homestead Refund, the SAFE-SR program, and Seniors and Disabled Veterans Property Tax Relief. The programs can provide meaningful financial relief, but eligible individuals must submit an application to receive benefits. Applications will be accepted starting January 15 through April 15.
