The Kansas Department of Transportation announces the approval of bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in southeast Kansas.
The projects approved for funding include a bridge replacement north of Bolton in Montgomery County at a cost of $518, 412. That project was awarded to Mission Construction of St. Paul.
Also approved in December was a 2.1 mile mill and overlay project oon US-75, just north of the east city limits of Neodesha for $653,241.35. A similar project on US-75B was also approved for $281,168. A third $893,549.47 project set for Neosho County for an overlay on K-47 from the U.S. 59/K 47 south junction east to the west city limits of St. Paul. All three projects were awarded to APAC-Kansas Inc., Shears Division of Hutchinson.
An Elk County surface recycle project on K-99 from the U.S. 160/K 99 north junction north to the Greenwood/Elk county line went to Dustrol, Inc., of Towanda, for $2,404,870.20 .
