Boosting radio signals for first responders in Nowata County continues to be a topic of discussion for the Nowata County Commission. Commissioner Troy Friddle says he is worried about the lack of funds in the county.

The commission has received concerns over the strength of the signals in the county. Two construction projects were finished last year for towers in Wann and near Oklahoma Union. Those projects were designed to strengthen the radio signal for first responders in more rural areas of the county.
