New Playground Equipment Coming to Pfister Park in 2026

The City of Coffeyville announces that Pfister Park will be getting some new playground equipment in 2026.

The current play equipment at the park have reached the point where significant repairs would be required to keep the safe for children. Due to this, the park’s main structure will be replaced with construction set to begin sometime this year. The updated equipment will meet current safety standards and provide a fun, safe play experience for kids of all ages.

Coffeyville Director of Parks Jarrod Powers stated that the City wanted to take the opportunity to make sure the park remains a great place for families to gather and that the equipment gives kids a safe place to play.

The new playground reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to investing in quality-of-life amenities and creating safe, inclusive spaces where residents can gather, play, and connect. As planning continues, the Parks Department will share updates with the community as the project timeline and design details are finalized.
