The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin survey work on US-169 near Humboldt on Monday.
The purpose of the field survey is to gather information for a proposed pavement rehabilition project. The survey will start at 1150th Road and go north for 3 ½ miles, ending just north of Connecticut Road.
Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the corridor. A member of the survey crew will contact property owners or tenants for permission to enter private property. Drivers are asked to use caution in the survey area.
KDOT expects the survey to be completed by March.
