A Monday search warrant on a Reno County home leads to the discovery of a clandestine drug lab.
The Hutchinson Police Department served the warrant on Monday at a residence suspected of distributing illegal narcotics. During the execution of the warrant, officers discovered a hidden drug manufacturing lab.
Arrested at the home were 42-year-old Curtis Chappel and 47-year-old Jeremy Fundenberger. Both face multiple durg related charges, while 46-year-old Jeff Kennedy was taken into custody for possession of a stolen firearm.
Officers also seized over 50 pounds of suspected D-M-T, 25 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of marijuana in addition to numerous supplies and equipment used in the manufacture of drugs.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation's Drug Task Force has been called in to assist with the investigation.
