Coffeyville Fire fighters respond to a structure fire at a Coffeyvile home.
The call came in just before 9pm on Monday as Coffeyville fire crews were dispatched to the 100 block of West 2nd Street. Units arrived on scene to find a large 2-story house with heavy fire involvement to the 2nd floor of the home. A pumper truck arrived to knock down the large body of fire to allow firefighters to enter the structure to search for occupants and to continue battling the flames from the inside of the structure. The fire was eventually brought under control and extinguished. The home was unoccupied at the time the fire occurred and no injuries were reported.
Multiple agencies including Coffeyville PD, CRMC EMS, Dearing, South Coffeyville, Liberty, Tyro and CVR fire departments all provided assistance.
The cause of the fire reamins under investigation.
