Suspect Identified in Neosho County Hit-and-Run

 

A suspect is in custody in connection to the strike on a Neosho County Sheriff's patrol vehicle.

 

On December 26th, a patrol vehicle was parked off the roadway on a pasture access and was stuck from behind in a hit-and-run.

 

According to the Sheriff's Department, 48-year-old Jeremy L Borton of Buffalo, KS, was arrested for leaving the scene of a crime, failure to report, driving while suspended, no ignition interlock device, no liability insurance and aggravated battery. He was transported to the Neosho County Jail. Upon completion of the investigation, reports will be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorney's Office for review.
