Osage County Commissioners review the findings of a three-year audit.
The review came at this week's commission meeting where commissioners attempted to ensure that the county was in compliance with the state auditor's office. Commissioners Steve Talburt says there were two major findings in the audit.
To correct these issues, the Osage County Commission has since adopted the personnel policy handbook that ACCO uses and created a committee to adopt policies and procedures that are consistent with Osage County.
Talburt says they just want to make sure they are doing everything correctly.
In other business, commissioners also approved the renewal of the contract for Tourism Director Mary Beth Moore, pending review by legal counsel.
