The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the assistance of Copan Fire rescue a group of stranded hunters.
Swifly changing weather conditions on Copan Lake on Sunday left the group of water fowl hunters stranded in the water on the north end of the lake. Copan Fire deployed a rescue boat, located the group, and helped them retrieve their sunken water craft. The hunters were able to safely return to the Port of Osage Plains.
No injuries were reported.
