Lots of people are on the road this week as people travel home from their Christmas celebrations.

The Kansas Highway Patrol wants to remind all drivers to travel with care, especially as New Year’s Eve approaches. Trooper Otero-Hernandez of KHP-Troop P says planning ahead will help everyone arrive home safely.

Those traveling in Kansas can check road conditions with the KanDrive app or by visiting KanDrive.gov. Travelers in need of assistance can call *47 for the Highway Patrol or *582 while on the Kansas Turnpike.
