The Montgomery County Commission will meet today for their last official meeting of 2025.

On today’s agenda is the yearly update from the Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce. Commissioners will also discuss several resolutions dealing with the transfer of county funds. Two such resolutions will transfer funds $200,000 from the County Road and Bridge Fund to the Special Highway Fund and $400,000 to the Special Equipment Fund. A third resolution will authorize the transfer of $700,000 from the General Fund to the Employee Benefits Fund. Also on today’s agenda is the expected approval of a $26,000 expenditure to replace the server in the County Attorney’s Office.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
