USD 508 Baxter Springs announces a new after school meal plan for students that will begin in January.
The program will offer students a free super snack/supper before sending them home for the evening. The district plans to adjust bus schedules to allow students some extra time to enjoy their food. Buses will leave ten minutes later each day in order to accommodate the new program. The meal service begins on January 7th and will be available to all students who are interested.
The announcement was made by USD 508 Superintendent David Pendergraft
