A Frontenac man faces charges of armed robbery after an incident at the Pittsburg Tractor Supply location.
The incident occurred around 8:40pm on Tuesday night when store employees say a man attemtped to leave the store without paying for merchandise. When staff confronted the suspect, they say he he showed a handgun and then left the store with the unpaid for items. The man was later identified using security video as a 32-year-old Frontenac man.
The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. He was in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest. The man is currently being held without bond in the Crawford County Jail.
