With the holiday season upon us, budgets can get stretched a little thin.

 

Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson reminds area residents of several opportunities throughout the week for meals. She says several churches in Independence offers meals for anyone in need.

 

Wilson adds there is an additional meal each week at the Wesley Center.

 

The meals are free and available to anyone in need of a hot, home-cooked meal.
