Bartlesville Police are searching for a suspect in a non-fatal shooting on Monday.

 

Just before 5pm Monday B-P-D responded to a possible shooting in the 3700 block of Woodland Road. When officers arrived on the scene they found an adult male suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg. Officers immediately provided aid. EMS arrived on scene and took the victim to a Tulsa hospital. The individual is expected to make a full recovery.

 

Investigators say the shooting occurred following a verbal altercation that took place in the parking lot of a church. Bartlesville authorities utilized the Flock Camera System and observed the suspect’s vehicle leaving the city following the incident. The suspect has been identified as a tribal member.
