Coffeyville's Crime Rate Continues to Decrease Over Last 10 Years

 

Crime in Coffeyville is down almost 65% over the last 10 years.

 

Police Chief Kwin Bromley says in 2014 Coffeyville experienced the highest crime rate per ca pita in the state at 87.6 crimes per 1,000 residents.  Chief Bromley says when he took over as police chief he immediately implemented several strategies within the department to reduce crime.

 

The Coffeyville City Commission recently approved an agreement for patrol cameras, body cams and a drone to help aid CPD in their efforts to reduce crime.
