The City of Neodesha adopts a formal social media policy for city-run accounts and city employees.

 

At the most recent city commission meeting, there was a discussion on the use of social media and what the proper channels were for making posts on behalf of the city. City Administrator Brogan Jones says the new policy will clarify social media use for employees.

 

Mayor Devin Johnson says the purpose of the new policy is to avoid some issues that have recently come to light.

 

In other business, commissioners also approved an amendment to the 2025 City budget.
