The Sedan City Council proceeds cautiously on a roof repair project at City Hall.
At this week's meeting, council members considered three bids for the project. Bidding on the project began last spring and council member Pam Koerner says before the project is awarded, the City should check to make sure the bid totals are still current.
One of the bids was dated from May. The measure had been tabled at the previous council meeting to allow members to gather more information. Council member Kathy Miller proposed tabling the motion again to ensure the bids were correct.
The motion was tabled until January 6th. In other business, council members voted to approve the sale of a small city-owned lot to Trader Vick's, LLC, for $3,000.
