The Coffeyville Fire Department responds to a couple of small grass fires during today's high winds.

 

This afternoon around 3:40 p.m., firefighters were called to the intersection of 6th and Lewis and were quickly able to contain a small grass fire. Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS also responded to the scene. No other damage was reported.

 

The Coffeyville Fire Department also responded to the Tree Dump to control several small fires within the area.
