The USD 445 School Board approves sending out a bid for the demolition of the FKHS Charlesworth Swimming Pool.
At tonight's special meeting, a motion was made to send out the Request for Proposal for pool demolition to see what the involved costs would be. This action does not mean the pool will be demolished. Rather, it allows the board to move forward with information gathering to make a decision on the facility in the future. Included with the motion was a planned meeting with Board President Jason Barnett, Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll and Friends of the Charlesworth Pool Committee Member Ryan Thompson.
The next scheduled board meeting will be on Monday, January 12th.
