Osage County is looking to increase enforcement on utility permits as the number of fiber optic firms and other companies installing underground lines increases.

 

At this week's meeting, commissioners stressed the importance of utility companies obtaining permits through the proper channels. Commissioner Steve Talburt says a recent encounter with a company brought the issues to light.

 

Talburt said both districts one and three stepping up enforcement on utility companies in light of their disregard permit applications.
