The Fredonia Arts Council honors a local couple for their years of service and dedication.

 

The Fredonia Arts Council has awarded the 2025 Joan Bayles Service Award to Kent and Gyla Marr. The couple was chosen based on their dedication to promoting the arts and their service to the Fredonia Arts Council through various committees. Gyla Marr also has served as the administrator of the Arts Council and Fredonia’s Stone House Gallery for five years. She retired in May of 2024.

 

The Marrs were presented with their award at the recent Sounds of Christmas community concert in Fredonia.
