The Montgomery County Commission will meet today as they begin to close out the 2025 calendar year.

On today’s agenda is the yearly update from the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce. Commissioners will also get an end-of-year report from Merchant McIntyre, the Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm that assists local governments in securing federal grants, appropriations, and funding for programs and projects. Representatives from the County Department of Corrections and Public Works will also appear before the commission today.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
