Montgomery County will replace a bridge on a county road northwest of Bolton.

The final approval for the project for the bridge located on County Road 2500 was given at this week's county commission meeting. Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins says there isn't a firm start date for the replacement, but that work is set to begin sometime in the first six months of 2026.

County Road 2500 will be closed in the area throughout construction since the project is a complete bridge replacement. Beurskins says the contractor anticipates 95 working days for completion once the project begins. Detours will be marked.
