Coffeyville's Jake Long and team roping partner Andrew Ward of Edmond, OK, fall in round 6 at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

 

For the first time at this year's event, the team did not have a qualifying run, causing them to fall to third in the average at 21.9 seconds in five rounds.

 

Above them in second is Kolton Schmidt and Jonathan Torres with 19.9 seconds over 5 rounds, and Clint Summers and Jade Corkill are in first with 25.5 seconds over 6 rounds.

 

There's still some time for the team to make up some ground as the NFR continues through Saturday in Las Vegas.
