The final weekly crop progress report for the growing season from the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service has been released.

In Kansas, winter wheat is doing well, with only 5% rated poor or very poor, 25% reported fair, and 70% either good or excellent.

Pasture and range condition are doing well, with 59% either good or excellent. Cotton and sunflower harvest is wrapping up but is behind last year and the average.
