The USD 445 Coffeyville School Board will meet this afternoon with the fate of the Field Kindley natatorium once again on the agenda.

 

Listed under action items for today's meeting is an entry to schedule a special board meeting this month to discuss the natatorium.  Dr. Craig Correll says the district did not receive an agreement for pool funding from the community group working to save the pool until late Friday, so the district needs more time to assess the situation before a decision can be made.

 

Also on today's agenda is the possible request for proposals for a roof overlay project at Community Elementary as well as contract extensions for principals and vice-principals at Field Kindley, Roosevelt Middle School, Community Elementary, and the Early Learning Center. Two assistant superintendents are also up for renewal.

 

Today's meeting begins at 4pm at the District Office. The public is invited to attend.
