The Allen County Sheriff's Office is looking to spread some holiday cheer with Adopt-a Grandparent 2025.

 

The program is designed to help elderly Allen County residents who have no family to spend their holidays with by matching them with a person who would like to “adopt” them. The adopter will then be able to purchase gifts for their person and give them a nice holiday surprise.

 

Those who would like to submit the name of a person to be adopted must do so by December 13 and include a list of their needs and wants. Recipients must be residents of Allen County. Gifts should be purchased, wrapped, and labeled with the recipients name and then returned to the Allen County Sheriff's Office in Iola for distribution.
