After previously voting it down, the Cherryvale City Council approves an updated ordinance related to public nudity.

After it was added to last night's meeting agenda, council members approved the ordinance, which prohibits a person knowingly or intentionally being nude in public. City Attorney Seth Jones says he added language to account for individuals with mental illness.

Violation of the new ordinance will be a Class A misdemeanor.
