Multiple accidents are being reported all over the KGGF listening area during the early evening.

 

The railroad overpass on U.S. 169 just south of the Coffeyville Municipal Airport is very slick, and multiple accidents have occurred at that location, including a truck that ended up upside down between lanes of traffic.  Despite slowing down to very low speeds, vehicles continue to spin out of control.

 

The westbound lane of US 166 at the overpass just west of Coffeyville was closed as of 7 p.m. due to an accident.

 

An accident has also been reported in Independence at the railroad overpass on West Main.

 

Multiple accidents have been reported on U.S. 400 between the U.S. 75 Junction and Neodesha.

 

Use extreme caution if you must cross any elevated surfaces, and consider delaying travel if possible.
