Downtown Independence was packed with people last night for the annual Holiday Open House and Parade.
This year's parade lasted about 40 minutes and featured a wide variety of entries, including the Independence High School Band playing Christmas favorites.
KGGF Staff broadcast the parade on Sonshine 98.9, and a video of the parade is also available below. The broadcast was brought to you by Schenck Insurance, Dave's Body Shop, Independence Overhead Door, Advanced Physical Therapy, Mr. Reid's Workshop, Cherry Bowl Lanes and Muffin Tops Bakery.
Upcoming parades include the Caney Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 4th and the Coffeyville Parade on Friday the 5th. Both will also be broadcast on air and on Facebook live.
