A minor child is injured following a two-vehicle accident Friday in Crawford County.

 

The accident occurred just after noon on US-69, just south of K-47 between Frontenac and Arma.

 

A pickup truck was traveling westbound on 610 Avenue and failed to yield to traffic on US-69. That failure caused a 2021 Honda Pilot to leave the roadway of US-69 and strike a fixed object. The driver of the Honda 41-year-old Jennifer Kim of Olathe was not injured. However, a 13-year-old female in her car sustained minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg. Two other passengers in the Honda were also uninjured.
