The Christmas season kicks off this weekend in Independence.
Director of the Independence Chamber of Commerce Lisa Wilson says there will be lots of stuff to do in downtown Indy on Sunday.
The Independence Christmas parade will also be on Sunday at 5:30 and will be broadcast on Sonshine 98.9, KQQF, with live video on the KGGF Facebook page, courtesy of Schenck Insurance, Dave's Body Shop, Independence Overhead Door, Advanced Physical Therapy, Mr. Reid's Workshop, Cherry Bowl Lanes and Muffin Tops Bakery.
